2. If I pre-plan my funeral, do I have to pay for it then?

No, just because you pre-plan you are not required to pre-pay for the funeral

          funeral home.

4. Who is responsible for the final arrangements when my family member dies?

The legal next of kin is responsible for the final arrangements. The legal next kin

the spouse, then it would be a son or daughter. If there is any question then please contact
          a funeral director.

Tennessee does not require embalming by law.
