James Donald Mitchell, age 75, passed away at his residence, December 11, 2020. He was born in Columbia and a resident of Rutherford County. James served in the United States Army. James was preceded in death by his parents, James William Mitchell and Bessie Mae Slatten Mitchell; and daughter, Sheila R. Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ruby Fayrene Mitchell; son, Wyatt Anthony Mitchell; daughter, Donna Ruth Anderson; sister, Peggy VanDiver; and grandchildren, Codi Nichols and Nicholeus Anderson.
