Ruth Ann Beard

Ruth Ann (Tallant) Beard of Murfreesboro, TN died peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with her husband by her side. Born in Franklin, TN in 1947, Ann loved spending time with her family, traveling, and playing games. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1965, where she met her future husband, Don Beard. They traveled extensively and lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado. A lifelong member of the churches of Christ, Ann was an active member at Kingwood Church of Christ for the past 21 years. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Alcie J and Lillie May Tallant, brothers Stanley and Ewing Tallant, and sisters Bonnell Brown, Ova Shirley, Edie Bedogne, and Reba Tallant. Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don Beard; daughter Jessica and her son Simon; son Ryan and his wife Ashley and their children Garrett, Scout, and Zipora; and son Alan and his wife Sharon and their children Parker and Emerson. A celebration of life will be held in April to honor her memory.
